Bradley Nowell Dedication Page

Bradley James Nowell was the lead singer, songwriter, and guitar player of the ska/reggae/punk/hip hop band Sublime. They toured the united states throughout the late 80's and early 90's building a loyal grassroots fan base. Nowell was known for his amazing voice and incredible, eclectic guitar style. The band's antics on tour were legendary, they were even charged with inciting a literal riot at one of their Southern California shows. The band was eventually signed to MCA records and began recording their major label debut self-titled album in early '95. Unfortunately, Bradley Nowell would die of a heroin overdose a month before the album's release, and a week after marrying his longtime girlfriend Troy Dendekker. The album would go on to be certified platinum, as would multiple other posthumous releases. Bradley's music inspired an entire generation of musicians, and is regularly covered by the biggest names in music today. To learn more about the tragic life of this music legend click here.
